APPLICATION DEADLINES

American Universities are very particular about application deadlines. They want all required application material (listed below) should reach them before the deadline.

Application (online preferred by most)

Application Fee ( if applied online payment through a credit card preferred by most)

Transcripts (official)

Standardised Test Scores (Official through ETS demanded by most)

Recommendations

Essay or Statement of Purpose ( Some waive this)

Resume (if required)

Lastly international students are also required to send ‘Financial Support Documents’. You have an option of submitting these after you receive an acceptance communication. However I will advice that the documents be sent initially.

If you are a savvy student you will observe the following:

1.Deadlines do change please verify the dates from the universities you are applying.

2.Your graduate application will be seperately processed by two sections of the university - graduate school and the deparment to which you are applying.There is a likelyhood that both observe different deadlines. To be safe follow the one falling earlier. In most of the universities the graduate school has an earlier deadline.

3.There is no harm in applying early this will be a safer option than applying nearer the deadline.The risk of certain documents requiring resubmission if they are non compliant with the universities requirement will be covered.
