University Acceptance Rate - Revisited

10cc-nb-thumb1

The following acceptance shows the number of applicants getting admission for every 100 applications.

What does this number mean?

Low Acceptance: Generally Very Competitive schools (top ranked schools); but some even low ranked schools which get more number of applications can also be a Low acceptance rate school.

High Acceptance: Generally, Less competitive schools which generally issue more I-20’s.

Such schools issue more number of admits; so generally safe schools. It can also mean high competition for funding.

Please Note :

These are general acceptance rates.

Acceptance rate varies for each program in a university and it also changes each year.

This is the reason that we have grouped these universities and precise statistics are not provided.
