Three charts below taken from Engineering Trends show the trends of engineering degrees awarded.
On analyzing the three charts the following table was created thereby concluding that more students are opting for masters and doctoral degrees maybe due to higher career competition.Keep in mind that many candidates go for a doctoral degree directly after under graduation and eliminate the need for a masters degree.
