Only 29 medical universities, colleges registered with PMDC

Pakistan Medical Dental Council (PMDC) has directed students not to take admission in any colleges and universities not registered with the council and only 29 medical universities and colleges are registered with the PMDC in the country.

It is merit mentioning here that earlier Supreme Court of Pakistan had directed PMDC and Federal Health Ministry to accommodate students of unregistered medical institutions into registered medical institutions of the country.

Following the directives of Supreme Court, Health Ministry and PMDC in a meeting directed students not to take admission in unregistered medical colleges and universities of the country.

According to the list of PMDC, the registered medical institutes are :
